For those seeking chiropractic care with a sporting/athletic background, and for those wanting to improve movement quality and performance, a Consultation with with DCC CORE's Principal Chiropractor and DNS Exercise Trainer is advised. It is only recommended for those who will be able to commit to a regime of exercises that they are able to do on a daily basis at home or in the gym.

During a CORE Chiropractic Consultation, Sam will take a detailed history to find out what has brought you in to the clinic and to put a picture together as to what might be causing your problem. She will also ask questions to do with your general health, sleep quality, diet, stress levels, occupation and hobbies/activities.

You will then undergo a series of tests to determine what the cause of your problem is and how best to fix it. Sam will look at the picture globally, so please expect to have tests done which you may think are completely unrelated to your area of pain. Your examination will include:

• Chiropractic
• Postural Screening
• Breathing Pattern Assessment
• General Range of Motion
• Orthopaedic Tests
• Neurological Tests
• Vital Signs
• Chiropractic Palpation
• Soft Tissue Palpation
• Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) Tests

• Muscle Length/Strength

After your examination, Sam will discuss with you how to get you the best results (pain reduction, prevention of re-occurrence and improved performance) and will suggest a bespoke course of treatment to achieve that.
